X-Link Academy was officially established in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2023, aiming to fill the gap in high-quality English education in Malaysia. The founding team, driven by a passion for education and a deep understanding of the importance of English, is committed to building an outstanding English education institution.

The academy focuses on foundational English education, progressively cultivating students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. It collaborates with Cambridge Examination Centre to provide Cambridge English Qualifications (KET/PET/FCE) exam preparation, helping students build a solid language foundation for overseas university applications.

Additionally, X-Link Academy offers Chinese language courses for foreign students, using methods such as character decomposition and contextual teaching to provide courses more suitable for foreign learners.

Children's Phonics & English

Age: 4–8

Using a combination of International Phonetic Alphabet and Natural Phonics, students learn to recognise characters by their sounds, progressively mastering English pronunciation rules and building foundational reading ability.

Primary School English Reading

Age: 7–11

Designed for primary students with a foundation, centred on reading skills. By analysing stories, newspapers and articles, students develop critical reading and writing skills, laying a solid base for Cambridge English exams.

Cambridge English Prep (KET/PET/FCE)

Age: 9–11

Focused on developing students' integrated listening, speaking, reading and writing skills targeting Cambridge English qualifications. Systematically covers question types and strategies to prepare students for overseas university language requirements.

Secondary English & Science Writing

Age: Secondary students

Curriculum emphasises analytical texts and critical thinking, with extensive writing tasks and comprehensive assignments. Aims to develop critical thinking and writing proficiency targeting Cambridge English C1 level.

Mathematics Tutoring

Age: Primary to Secondary

Includes 1-on-1 personalised maths tutoring and small group classes. 1-on-1 focuses on strengthening maths foundations; group classes follow Cambridge curriculum for systematic IGCSE/A-LEVEL/SAT/IB maths preparation.

Malay Language

Age: All ages

Designed for students with a fixed learning foundation. Through a systematic learning plan, master core vocabulary, grammar, and practical communication skills, gaining deep insight into Malay culture for travel, business and academic purposes.

Chinese Language

Age: All ages

Taught using YCT/HSK series textbooks. Students improve Chinese through reading, vocabulary, sentence construction and writing. Participation in international youth Chinese writing competitions and regular Chinese cultural activities.

Adult English Course

For: Adult learners

Specially designed for adults with practical scenarios including restaurant ordering, travel navigation, and business negotiations. Combined with extensive oral practice and multicultural interaction to rapidly boost English communication confidence.
