X-Link Academy was officially established in Johor Bahru, Malaysia in 2023, aiming to fill the gap in high-quality English education in Malaysia. The founding team, driven by a passion for education and a deep understanding of the importance of English, is committed to building an outstanding English education institution.

Programmes follow the Cambridge-aligned pathway: English from early years through primary, dedicated Reading & Writing (RE & GW), Cambridge KET/PET/FCE and IELTS preparation, plus Mathematics, Sciences (Physics, Biology, Chemistry), Malay and Chinese. Small classes and tailored teaching support international study and professional goals.

Children's Reading & Primary English

Early years through primary school

Children's reading and primary English within a Cambridge-aligned framework—building listening, speaking, reading and writing for the Reading & Writing pathway and future exams.

Cambridge Reading & Writing (RE & GW)

Official Cambridge RE & GW materials · Lexile bands · Four levels

Structured progression from Lexile 200L to 1200L+, mapped to YLE, KET, PET and FCE: reading habits and basic writing; strategies and paragraphs; academic and multi-genre writing; advanced critical reading and complex tasks.

Cambridge English Exam Prep (KET / PET / FCE)

Small groups of 4–6 · ~3-month prep · 2× per week, 1.5 hrs each

Placement test before enrolment. Cambridge-qualified trainers cover all four skills and exam technique. Course package includes official exam registration for the level (dates per Cambridge; intakes announced by the academy).

IELTS Intensive Programme

4 weeks · 40 hours · Mon–Fri 17:00–19:00 (2 hrs/day)

Delivered by IELTS 8+ certified instructors. Weekly focus on listening foundations, reading task types and timing, Task 1/2 writing, and speaking Parts 1–3. Includes two full mock tests with review, plus one official IELTS test entitlement (details from our team).

Mathematics

Primary to secondary · 1-on-1 or small group

One-to-one for foundations and problem-solving; small groups for IGCSE, SAT and IB—syllabus coverage and exam strategies.

Science (Physics · Biology · Chemistry)

Secondary level

Subject-specific support for international-school and exam-track students—concepts, skills and assessment practice.

Malay Language

All ages

Systematic Malay for daily life, travel, business and culture—core vocabulary, grammar and spoken communication.

Adult English

Beginner & intermediate · practical focus · small classes · flexible slots

Real workplace and daily scenarios—from phonics, core vocabulary and small talk to tenses, workplace communication and fluency. Weekday morning options available to protect evenings.
